Slow Cooker Braised Pork Ribs


A braised ribs recipe using canned tomato soup (because thats what I had)

The ingredient of Slow Cooker Braised Pork Ribs

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon field ginger
  • 1 2 teaspoon black pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 4 pounds pork ribs bone in not quite 6 or so
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 can abbreviated tomato soup
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha optional
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 dash allspice
  • 3 leaves lively sage thinly sliced

The Instruction of slow cooker braised pork ribs

  • combine salt sugar and spices sprinkle on all sides of the pork
  • slice onion thinly arrange in bottom of slow cooker
  • brown pork on all sides over medium heat layer over onions in slow cooker
  • combine remaining ingredients except sage until smooth pour over pork sprinkle sage over top
  • cook on medium setting at least 4 hrs or until meat is fork tender falling off bone
